This is a quick and simple great friends card. I used pink pirouette and riding hood red cardstock and inks (boo hoo, they're leaving us :( ). This card is really self explanatory. The one tip I can give you about stamping images to make your own background is 1) stamp off the paper too. You don't want all your images perfectly within the confines of your paper. Afterall if you bought designer paper and cut it, some of those butterflies and flowers would be cut off in the middle. 2). Turn your stamp every which way when you stamp. You want your butterflies to be facing different directions and even upside down or to the side, same with the flowers on the top part.

This is Sock Monkey. My upline let me borrow this set from her. I had SOOO much FUN with it. I love paper piecing it together. I do think though that I should make his mouth red! I used scraps of the Candy Lane dsp that I had left over. The sentiment came from A Happy Heart. I think I'll be using this card for a care package when my son is off to college!

Scene in a Garden--which one do you like??
Here are two cards I made using Scene in a Garden stampset from the Occasions Mini Catalog. It's a great set. If you love to color, this one is perfect! A stamp-a-ma-jig is a must for this set so that you can get all the accessories sitting just where you want them.
I'm curious which card you like better????? One is a mistake. Can you guess which one??
I used Stampin UP markers and watercolor paper to color the images. It's my favorite method for coloring!! I'm imbedding a tutorial I made and placed on youtube. It's a bit long--about 15 minutes. Time flies when you're having fun coloring!

A Kind Word
A Kind Word is one of the best new stamp sets to color! I love the three images in this set. On this one, I used the tree branch from Owl Together and the girl from A Kind Word. I used Brocade Blue and Yellow Saffron together for the first time, and I LOVE how they look! I'll definitely be repeating this combination.
I hope you enjoy this card! I'll be posting a video tutorial tomorrow on my coloring technique.

The Delinquent has returned!
Wow! I can't believe I haven't a whole month has passed since I posted! I've been busy--but not too busy to stamp!!! LOL! Just too busy to take pictures, I guess.
So, today, I took pictures of a bunch of cards I made and filmed a tutorial. I've got to edit the video and then I'll post it.
Until then, here is a photo for you. This is a onesie invitation my friend and I made for another friend's baby shower. We made over 40 of these things!!
I also made a diaper cake for my friend, but unfortunately, I didn't take a picture :(
I'll have more Stampin UP cards for you tomorrow!
