What to do with ribbon scraps!
Hey, everyone!!
A while ago, I saw on Michelle Wooderson's blog a neat idea for making ribbon strips to use up ribbon scraps. Today, I finally decided to give it a try. In the video, I used a rotary cutter, because that was what Michelle had used. But I was pleased to discover the the Stampin UP craft scissors had no trouble cutting through the layers of cardstock, sticky tape and ribbon. In the video, I show you both methods, so don't freak out when you see me with the rotary cutter and start thinking that you'll never be able to make ribbon strips. I show you the scissor method right afterwards. If you have SU paper and craft scissors you'll have no problem at all.
So, whatever you do---don't throw out those ribbon scraps!!
I had to edit down this video too! I don't know what is with that!!
Part of what I edited out was blooper worthy! Someday I'll collect all those and post a blooper video. Also, at the beginning of this video, I say I'm going to make an Easter card. Well, it ended up being just a general card.
